Dakine Mission Pro Backpack 25L

A dedicated backcountry pack sized for short tours and quick laps through the gates. The clamshell layout keeps your shovel and probe in their own pocket and leaves the main compartment for layers, skins and the rest of your touring kit.

Why We Carry It

It is the size we reach for on half days: big enough for the essentials, small enough that you forget it is there on the lift.

Highlights

• Avy tool pocket: Dedicated shovel and probe pocket with sleeves, separate from your layers.
• Board and ski carry: Vertical snowboard carry plus diagonal ski or splitboard carry.
• Hydration ready: Insulated hose sleeve in the shoulder strap, or run a two-way radio handset instead.
• Goggle pocket: Fleece-lined so your lens stays scratch free.
• Hip belt: 25 mm padded hip belt with a side pocket, plus a zippered side pocket on the pack.
• Spine protector ready: Compatible with the DK Impact Spine Protector (sold separately).

Best For

Hiking out of Imperial Express to Imperial Bowl, short sidecountry missions and anyone who wants their avy gear on their back without hauling a full touring pack.
