Spark R&D Surge ST Splitboard Binding

Spark's stiff, powerful splitboard binding for big days and big lines. A solid baseplate, stiffer highbacks and supportive ankle straps give you the control to ride steep, firm and technical terrain after the skin up.

Why We Carry It

Spark builds simple, bombproof split bindings, and the Surge ST is the one we hand to riders who charge and want a binding that feels like their resort setup on the way down.

Highlights

• Tesla T1 with Smooth Touring: Bindings slide into offset ST Brackets and lock with the snap ramp. No pins, no cables, and overmolded bushings cut friction and outlast the old brass ones.
• ST Whammy Bars: Built in climbing wire with stowed, 12 and 18 degree positions.
• Surge Asym Rip 'N' Flip highbacks: Left and right specific with high glass fiber fill, plus a tool free forward lean adjuster that flips between tour and ride mode.
• Solid baseplate: More power and edge control than a cutout base.
• Pillow Line straps: One piece molded straps that won't soak up water, with a wide asymmetric ankle strap for support.
• Cold proof plastics: Ladders and adjusters stay flexible on cold days, with Burton buckles.

Best For

Strong riders and big line chasers touring out of Summit County who want maximum response on steep descents.
