Stranda Shorty Snowboard 2027

Stranda Shorty Snowboard 2027

Stranda's original surf shape: a longer nose, a hook-free Diamond Tail and low camber with tip and tail rocker. It floats when it is deep and stays calm on hardpack thanks to aluminum stringers in the nose and PU sidewalls.

Why We Carry It

It rides like a bigger board in powder without being a handful on groomers, and it's built tough. A real rider's board from a small Norwegian builder.

Highlights

• Diamond Tail: Hook-free tail with a longer nose for float, so you get powder performance from a shorter board.
• Low camber with tip-tail rocker: 6 mm of camber keeps it easy to turn and forgiving.
• Aluminum nose stringers: Double alu stringers and lightweight paulownia in the nose cut vibration on firm snow.
• PU sidewalls: A plush, damp feel without losing pop.
• Ash and poplar core: Ash holds camber and damps chatter; poplar keeps weight down.
• Carbon torsion rods: Triax glass with carbon rods for edge response.
• Bamboo topsheet: Thin bamboo layer up top.

Best For

Riders who want one board for storm days and slashy groomer laps, from the trees off Peak 6 to the T-Bar on a powder morning.
