Stranda Slicer Snowboard 2027

A short, wide carver built around a long effective edge. You get a carving board's grip in a smaller, quicker package, and the fat waist means you can lay it over without boot out.

Why We Carry It

Not everyone wants to haul a 170 around to carve. The Slicer gives big feet and short boards a way to trench turns and still slash side hits.

Highlights

• Wide waist: 27.5 or 28.5 cm, so boot out is off the table at high edge angles.
• Full camber: With a touch of early rise in the nose for crust and easy turn entry.
• Degressive sidecut: Tighter in the nose to dive in, longer through the middle and tail to hold the line.
• Power Bumps: Extra bite on icy groomers.
• Poplar core with four ash stringers: Damp and responsive.
• Triax glass and carbon torsion rods: Torsional stiffness from the inserts out to the wide points.
• Flex: Medium, softer in the nose and stiffer in the tail for a locked-in finish.

Carvers who want to lay down trenches on Peak 9 corduroy without riding a long board. US 11 boots and up go 155XW.
