Rental FAQ
How much does it cost to rent a snowboard in Breckenridge?
At Underground a snowboard rents for $54.95 a day, or $49.45 a day for 4 days or more. A full board, boots and bindings package is $79.85 a day, and 10% less with code PACKAGE10. You can also rent just a board, just boots or just bindings.
Is this rental gear or demo gear?
Both, in the best way. Our rental fleet is premium demo gear: current Burton, Jones, Korua and Arbor boards and Burton boots, the same models we sell. It is tuned in house between every rental.
Can I rent just boots or just a board?
Yes. Every piece rents on its own, so bring your own boots and rent a board, or rent boots and bindings for your own deck. Mix and match however you want.
Do you rent Burton Step On?
Yes. Step On boots are $24.95 a day and Step On bindings are $19.95 a day, in men's and women's sizes. We also have Jones and Rome FASE step in bindings that work with any snowboard boot.
When do I pick up and return my rental?
Pick up any time during shop hours on your first day. A rental day runs 24 hours from pickup, so return on your last day during shop hours. Picking up the afternoon before you ride counts as day one, and you get first chair.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every rider signs our digital rental agreement before gear goes out. It is part of online booking, and walk ins sign on our counter tablet or their phone. A parent or guardian signs for riders under 18.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel or change 48 hours or more before pickup for a full refund. Inside 48 hours or no show, the first day is charged and the rest refunded. If Breckenridge does not open lifts on your pickup day, that day is refunded. Early returns are not refunded.
Can my rental go toward a new board?
Yes. Buy a new board from us within 30 days of your rental and your board rental day comes off the price. Keep your receipt.
What if I damage or lose the gear?
Normal wear is on us. Damage beyond normal wear is billed at our service rates, and lost or stolen gear at retail price, as covered in the rental agreement.
